Maseru, Mar.02 — Mosepele Foundation Development Forum (MFDF), one of the youth led organisations in Lesotho says meaningful and inclusive participation in decision making should be prioritised in the country.
Speaking in an interview with the agency on Sunday, Director MFDF Mr. Maliehe Mosepele stated that different groups comprising the youth, men, women as well as adolescent girls and boys should be given an opportunity to take part where decisions are made.
Mr. Mosepele indicated that they should not only be present at decision making platforms but should participate at all levels, whether community, district or national. He emphaised that young people should be consulted when decisions are made on issues that affect them. He said the decisions should not be imposed on them . .
