Berea, July 06 — In a bid to ensure easy access, and reliable water service delivery to the general public, the Ministry of Water has been engaged in the two days consultative stakeholders workshop in Berea to review the Water and Sanitation Services Bill of 2021 and Water Policy.
Addressing community stakeholders during the workshop staged in Teyateyaneng, Director Department of Rural Water Supply, Mr. Felix Malachamela said their ministry has been operating under the Water Act of 2008 which was more focused on water resources management and with time it was found to have some shortfalls when it comes to the water service supply.
