Botha-Bothe, Dec. 05 — The community of ’Muela has lauded Village Health Workers (VHWs) for their vital role in providing essential healthcare services which help reduce the burden on health facilities and improve children’s health tracking.
Speaking during an interview as the community queued for primary health services offered by VHWs, Mrs. Puleng Motsosela, a mother of a six-month-old baby, expressed her appreciation for the VHWs’ work.
She noted that their presence has simplified health monitoring for families.
“With the VHWs in our community, we can access primary health services without incurring transport costs to visit clinics. Now, we only go to the clinic for immunizations,” Mrs. Motsosela explained.
