UPHILL BATTLE FOR RIBANANG COMMUNITY

Maseru, April. 01 — There is still no way forward regarding the bridge that collapsed  in Makhaleng River to Ha Lebona, Ribaneng.

The collapsing of the bridge frustrated the Community as it hindered them from carrying out their day to day work, especially in the rainy forecast.

In an interview with the Agency, Chief of Ribaneng, Ha Lebona Chief Griffith Api said since the time the Agency spoke to him on the subject of the bridge there are still no initiatives taken by the government entity responsible for that to resolve the crisis.

He indicated that it is very over-complicated for them to reach Mafeteng town as they are living in Ribaneng that is in Maseru side, However they are using Mafeteng town due to that it is close to them than Maseru town as a results they take a crooked route to get to town as they have to go to town through Malea-lea road which is also have complexity that the pedestrian bridge is also collapsed.
