Maseru, Feb.18 –Despite the silent and soft rains that have been showering the country since early morning of Tuesday, Basotho gathered at Mofumahali oa Tlholo Catholic Church to celebrate their Majesties’ wedding silver anniversary.
King Letsie III joined in matrimony with Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso (nee Karabo Mots’oeneng) on February 18, 2000 in a ceremony that was conducted by late Archbishop Bernard Mohlalisi.

The anniversary which is in the month of love and is celebrated with a holy mass led by Bishop John Joale Tlhomola S.C.P together with Archbishop Gerard Tlali Lerotholi.
With readings from Genesis 2:18-24: The union of two people is so intimate that they become “one” and hymns sang signifying the importance of marriage.
