Mohale’s Hoek, Sept. 23 — A 41 year-old man of Ha Motloheloa is in police custody, for the alleged shooting of a 30 year-old man at Likhutlong.
This has been confirmed by an officer commanding Mohale’s Hoek Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Inspector Moeketsi Sehau in an interview with the Agency.
He noted that around 7 in the morning the accused, who is working for a security company, is reported to have been on his way to work, when he met the victim who accused him of having locked his wife at the latter’s house.
Inspector Sehau noted that the suspect is reported to have shot the victim after the latter tried to fight with him, however Insp. Sehau articulated that the woman whom the victim called his wife, is actually dating both men.
Insp. Sehau concluded by noting that the victim, who is from Ribaneng, was rushed to Nts’ekhe Hospital, but later transferred to Queen Mamohato Hospital.
