SELLO BREAKS OWN RECORD IN SURRENDER HILL MARATHON

Maseru, March 10 – A 30-year-old Morabaraba Sello who hails from Ha Tabolane, Tsime in the Botha Bothe district has smashed his own previous course record of 2:38 in last year’s Surrender Hill marathon in Clarens Free State to set the new 2:35:38 on Saturday.

Sello told the Agency that the Surrender Hill is not an easy race due to its nature of many hills but he managed to soldier on under those challenges.

‘I am super fit hence I managed to win the race and set the new course record’ he commented.

Sello, who attributed his success and recent achievements to a veteran marathon runner Teboho Sello, not related, said he prepared well for this race both in Maseru and his home town of Botha Bothe, where he trained on hilly places. . .
