Mohale’s Hoek, June.20 — The Smallholder Agriculture Development Project (SADP) has held a meeting with farmers, with the purpose of disseminating messages regarding the up coming opening of applications, and the requirements needed for them to qualify.
SADP’s Project Field Officer Mr. Lesetla Makoae highlighted that for farmers to qualify for assistance, they need to illustrate more on the type of farming they are into, the type of crops they are growing and where they are sourcing them from, followed by the type of assistance they are applying for. He further articulated that if one is producing vegetables, they must know the brand of their produce, what they use on the crops to prevent pests, as well as whether the market is readily available, noting the project is expected to run for a period of 2 years. . .
