Qacha’s Nek, Nov. 12 — In a significant step towards improving local infrastructure, routine road maintenance has resumed along the Bolahla to Qacha’s Nek route.

Today marks the second day of operations, with a team of 20 unskilled laborers tasked with repairing potholes over the next three months. A new team of laborers will be hired each month for the duration of the project.

The workers, selected from a pool of applicants aged 18 to 60 in September 2024, are set to earn M3,058 for a month of work.

Twelve laborers are focused on repairs from Ha-Noosi to town, while eight others are addressing potholes from Qhoali to Ha-Mosi. . .
