RESULTS HAVE IMPROVED – UNIONS

Maseru, Jan.20 — Teachers’ unions say that the recently released Lesotho General Certificate for Secondary Education (LGCSE) , though not satisfactory, has improved compared to 2023.

Lesotho Teachers Trade Union (LTTU) Secretary General Ms. ‘Mamoholoane Folene said this in an interview on Monday where she said  while the pass rate is still below 80 percent, the country has a long way to go.

She said there are a lot of issues that contribute towards good results which she said  need to be addressed.

Among others she indicated that teachers need to have regular training especially with the curriculum changing every now and then. She explained that life changes every day in this technological era therefore  curriculum and teachers must go hand in hand for best results…
