Maseru, April.04–The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane has on behalf of the government of Lesotho received 1000 metric tons of rice together with 1000 metric tons of sorghum from the government of India in Maseru on Friday.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Mpotjoane said India and Lesotho share a history of cooperation, one that is grounded in mutual respect, common interests and shared aspirations for progress and development.
He indicated that the partnership spans from various fields, from infrastructure development to education, health, defence and technological cooperation and Lesotho’s collaboration with India goes beyond aid as the relationship between the two countries is not just defined by official agreements…
