RAINS DESTROY INFRASTRUCTURE IN MJANYANE 

Quthing, Jan. 14 – – Footbridge that connects the villages of Sizindeni and Thaba-Ts’oeu  Mjanyane area is reported to have been flooded during heavy rains currently being experienced in the district.

In an interview with the Agency, the Community Councilor for Mjanyane  Mrs. Nozak’hele Bohlane said  the footbridge that is used by residents and school children from Sisindeni to cross Mjanyane river was swept away by heavy rains. 

She stated that school children cross the bridge to Mjanyane Primary school and Tiping high school,  while residents cross the bridge for among others;  public transport to Quthing town and other villages within the community council, local shops, heath clinic and to attend public gatherings at the area Chief ‘s residence …
