Maseru, Oct. 12 — To some, the best thing one can do when it is raining is to let it rain, to others, rain is grace descending from the sky to the earth, thus without rain there would be no life.
On a calm and rainy day, Thursday, participants from different walks of life are arriving for the two-day water and hydrogen in a digital future conference and expo held in Maseru starting today. The expo has been organised by the Ministry of Natural Resources and ‘Metsi ke Bophelo’.
Dressed in their different cultural and business attires, many are seated and ready to get an insight pertaining to the intrinsic nature of water considered to be occupying 70 percent of the earth surface as according to water experts.
Different water entities and projects from renewable energy to wetlands namely: RENOKA, WASCO and LHDA to mention but a few have their stalls already set, thus showcasing water as a valuable natural resource.
Even non-governmental organisations representatives regarding water as a critical part of life and development are also present.
