RABOKO GETS 10 YEARS IMPRISONMENT 

Mohale’s Hoek, Dec.  02 —  Mohale’s Hoek Magistrate court has sentenced a 32 year-old man Thabang Raboko from Ha Raboko in Taung to pay M 20,000.00 or 10 years imprisonment, suspended until April 30, 2025 on condition that the latter pays the complainant as agreed.

This comes after Raboko was found guilty of stealing 68 sheep belonging to Peete Ralefeko after invading the latter’s Claremont Water Farm in RSA, on or about November 29, 2022, then selling some of them to one Makhoebe Matopela residing in Ha Pita Maseru.

Raboko is reported to have paid Ralefeko M 8000.00 for 4 sheep and the remaining 64 sheep would also be paid at the rate of M1,000.00 per sheep and the case has been before Magistrate Rantja and Sehloho Mathe for Public Prosecution.

Meanwhile, a 72 year-old man from Tsoating Holy-Cross Karabo Phailana has been remanded in custody, charged with an assault of his 63 year-old wife who is reported to be vulnerable due to her physical disability, by beating her with a stick on November 14.
