PRINCE MOHATO AWARD SCHEME HIGHLIGHTS YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT, COMMUNITY SERVICE

Maseru, Mar. 14 The Royal Palace was set alive on Friday with celebration as King Letsie III hosted a special ceremony for the Prince Mohato Award Scheme, a charitable non-competitive program dedicated to encouraging voluntary leisure-time activities among young people aged 14 to 24.

The awards are designed to promote personal growth, self-reliance, perseverance, responsibility, and community service.

Amidst a gathering of notable guests, including representatives from the South African embassy, the Royal Lesotho Lifeguard Association President, members of the Lesotho Defence Force and Principal Secretary in the ministry of Education Mr. Rats’iu Majara, King Letsie III presented the awards to deserving recipients.

One of the awardees, Mr. Rethabile Majalle, expressed gratitude on behalf of his peers, reflecting on the challenges young people face. . .
