Quthing, Sept. 03 – – The Prime Minister Mr. Samuel Matekane undertook a tour in maize harvesting block farming and of planting of wheat at Seaka and Tele in Quthing district on Saturday this week.
Speaking during the tour Mr. Matekane commended the Quthing farmers responding positively to the government’s call to the farmers to engage in farming to achieve sustainable food security from family, community and national level.
He commended the good work done by the farmers saying the block farming benefit the owners of the block and of fields with production of food to feed their farmers and sale for income generation for economic growth.
