Butha-Buthe, Dec. 11 – Prime Minister Ntsokoane Matekane, together with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, is set to officially inaugurate the Marakabei-Mononts’a road this Friday.
According to a savingram, the 60-kilometre road will be named after His Excellency Guterres to commemorate his first official visit to Lesotho.
The road serves as a vital link between Lesotho and South Africa’s Free State province, providing a collector route for villages in the Butha-Buthe and Leribe districts. Initially, the project was estimated to cost the government M925 million. . .
