Maseru, May 09ā Advocate Letuka Molati, one of the defence lawyers in a case in which ten army members are accused of killing three men and dumping their bodies into the Mohale Dam, says the polished English a supplementary statement by Detective Police Constable Mohlominyane Nkhahle was not written by Detective Inspector Nkeane.
This he said during cross-examination of PC Nkhahle after he acknowledged that following events at the Maseru Border Post in May 2017, he wrote a statement on September 15 2017. He also acknowledged that he made a supplementary statement on February 27 2020 which was recorded by Inspector Nkeane.
