POLICE CALL FOR THE INJURED

Maseru, Oct.10—Roma police have called on members of the public who were injured during the National University of Lesotho (NUL) students’ strike to come forward.

This Officer Commanding Roma Police Inspector Jeremane Motake said in an interview on Tuesday,   he said he has heard that there are people who sustained injuries during the administration of tear gas but cannot confirm that as there are no reports filed in his office.

He said that he is not sure if it is students or members of the public saying  at times the students hide in vendors’ stalls and attack police from there by throwing stones.
