Maseru, Mar. 30 — The Prime Minister, Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane will give a keynote address during the 3rd Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) scheduled to take place on April 09, 2025 at Maseru.
According to the office of the Government Secretary, the event will prioritise the presentation of and adoption of the Investment Climate Action Plan (ICAP). It is stated that focus will also be on the establishment of Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) for priority reforms.
PPD was launched by the Government of Lesotho and the private sector. The two parties also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aim to establish, institunalise and strengthen the Lesotho Public-Private collaboration.
The strengthened partnership will help the Government of Lesotho and the Private Sector to drive the regulatory framework and other reforms needed to increase trade and investment as well as nature overall competitiveness in the country. SM/TL
