Maseru, Jun.14 — Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane has passed condolences to the government of Malawi and families of Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima and fellow passengers following a plane crash on Monday this week.
“It is with profound sadness that I extend my heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Lesotho upon the passing of Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima,” he said.
He said that Dr. Chilima was a remarkable leader whose dedication and service to Malawi were evident throughout his distinguished career saying his visionary leadership and commitment to the welfare of his fellow citizens have left an indelible mark on the history of Malawi.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Chilima’s family during this difficult time. We recognize the deep personal loss you are experiencing, and we stand with you in solidarity, offering our support and comfort,” he said. . .
