Maseru, Feb. 21 – Two days after budget presentation prioritising digital transformation, the Prime Minister (PM) launched Sebopi otherwise ‘sesiu sa libopi’ UniPOD at Lerotholi Polytechnic (LP) on Friday.
Prior to his launch speech, Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane requested moment of silence for one SEBABATSO Leader and Youth Connect, Bokang Grace Matlosa of MASOWE III who will be laid to rest tomorrow, Saturday.
The PM stated the UniPOD will unlock the great minds of youth, strive for growth and development of the country economically and otherwise.
He added, while this initiative aligns with the country’s National Strategic Development Plan II (NSDP II) review extension, the hub further shows innovation is now a necessity not luxury.
According to the PM, all including young people under SEBABATSO will be able to use the UniPOD to further enhance their research, business ideas as well as their prototypes. . .
