Maseru, May 26 ā The Department of Social Development has refuted allegations that the elderly residing in Pitseng, Leribe have not been paid since March this year.
According to Social Development Public Relations Officer Mrs. Mpho Makhetha, the above mentioned people received double payment in March for that month and April, saying they will get payment for the month of May on Friday (today) and Monday next week.
She therefore urged them to remain calm as they will definitely get their money on Thursday and Monday next week.
