PHAMOTSE WANTS EXECUTIVE INTERVENTION 

Maseru, Nov. 25 — A Member of Parliament for Matlakeng Constituency has called the Executive through relevant Ministries to quickly attend to a matter that has seen many Basotho being arrested in Newcastle, South Africa over the weekend.

Dr. Mahali Phamotse said this when moving an urgent motion in the National Assembly on Monday. This follows reports of hundreds and hundreds of Basotho nationals allegedly arrested in Newcastle.

She called for speedy and urgent intervention by relevant Ministries namely: Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, Labour and Employment as well as Trade.
