Maseru, March. 27- To improve the livelihoods of children in Lesotho, Perivori School Trust launched a partnership with Lesotho Early Childhood Care Development (ECCD) teachers during an event held in SOS Children Villages Maseru on Thursday.
Speaking on behalf of the Minister, the Deputy Principal Secretary (DPS) in the Ministry of Education Mrs. Refiloe Kepa said the partnership marked a cornerstone for children in Lesotho.
She highlighted that Lesotho recognises the ECCD through two policies and frameworks including Lesotho integrated ECCD policy of 2013 which underscores the commitment to provide the inclusive and quality ECCD for all children, particularly the most vulnerable, National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) as well as Children Protection Welfare Act of 2011 that save guards the right of children to education fare and development…
