OVER PRICING CLOSES DOWN BUSINESSES 

Mohale’s Hoek, Dec. 12 — Broilers farmer from Qalakheng 2 Mrs. ‘Masello Mojaje says most businesses in the country are being closed down by either over or lower pricing of products. 

Mrs. Mojaje who noted she has been producing broilers for over 5 years stated this in an interview with the Agency during the 5-day training on broilers and poultry production held for about 20 farmers from Mohale’s Hoek and its environs courtesy of TKM Agricultural Solutions, by noting that over and under-pricing of chickens and eggs could bring a huge loss if farmers are not trained.

She pleaded with those in authority to open a chicken abattoir in the district, as some of the guest houses refuse to buy broilers from locals due to the unhygienic slaughtering and handling of chickens at homes. . .
