NUL STUDENTS TO HOLD PEACEFUL MARCH

Maseru, Jan.23 — The National University of Lesotho (NUL) will on Friday next week (January 31) hold a peaceful march to deliver their letter of concerns to the National Assembly Speaker. This is according to the Students Representative Council (SRC) President Mr. Tumo Tsanyane.

He said that this is to put forward solutions to the country’s problems which are affecting them (youth) whether they are silent or do nothing at all.

He said that unlike other marches that they have had in the past this is different and will be a peaceful one because this time they are dealing with issues that can help bring about development in the country.

Among the key issues that they would like all the National Assembly members to dwell on without any political attire include reviewing reduction of retirement age which he said can respond to the youth unemployment that the country is facing. . .
