This was said by MEAL Vice Secretary Mrs. Makanana Liphoto during an interview with LENA as the country observes the International Emergency Medical Service week.
Mrs. Liphoto said in as much as the country might have its own ambulances in hospitals, but the medical emergency services are still in a compromised state and there is a need for the country to recognize the importance and invest heavily in EMS.
