Mokhotlong Nov.05 — Mokhotlong district had a busy weekend as hikers from different clubs and countries came to join Thabana Ntlenyana Hiking Adventure Club when it celebrated its fifth anniversary of establishment.
Hikers who were from Lesotho, Botswana, Eswatini and South Africa arrived in the district from Friday and left on Sunday (today) after having participated in trails which started and ended at different points.
The first trail of 24 kilometres long started from Koti’s Phola via Thabana Ntlenyana and ended at Sani Top while another trail, 14 kilometres, started from Sani Top to Masobasoba.
In an interview with the Thabana Ntlenyana Hiking Adventure Club, Mr. Makhabane Ts’ita affectionately known as “Congo” said all hikers managed to complete the trials successfully as there were no casualties throughout the event. . .
