MOHAU KOBILE DIES

Maseru, Apr. 18 — Founder and Managing Director of Tšenolo FM, Mr. Mohau Kobile has succumbed to death on Thursday morning while in hospital in Bloemfontein.

This was confirmed by the Station Manager, Mr. Mshengu Tshabalala in an interview where he said that Kobile was admitted in one of the hospitals in the neighboring country where he passed on this morning saying that he had been sick for some time now.

He said that they are saddened as the station to have lost such a visionary leader saying this is a great loss to the station and Basotho at large.

Aged 55, Kobile was born at Qeme, Ha ‘Mantšebo in the Maseru district. He founded Tšenolo FM in 2012.

Besides being a businessman, Kobile has worked as the Mayor of Maseru in the past years. He has been currently working as the Commissioner of Local Government since 2015.

He is survived by wife and two children, a boy and a girl.

Meanwhile, Tšenolo FM has suspended all programmes until tomorrow morning.
