Maseru, Mar.20—A case in which ten army members are charged with the murder of three men whose bodies were recovered from the Mohale Dam,which failed to proceed on Monday, has today continued before the High Court.
The case could not proceed on Monday as a lead prosecutor Advocate Motene Rafoneke withdrew his services. He was however today seen back on the case and continuing as the prosecutor.
Today, the prosecution led evidence from Inspector Rapelang Nkeane, one of the investigating officers in this matter.
He testified that the investigations into the disappearance and murder of Lekhoele Noko, Khothatso Makibinyane and Molise Pakela led them to some members of Military Intelligence. He stated that on September 21 2017, Military Police brought Captain Mahlehle Moeletsi and Sergeant Lekhooa Moepi, who are some of the accused in this case, to the Police Headquarters…
