MOHALE DAM MURDER TRIAL MOVES TO NEXT MONTH

Maseru, Mar.26— After proceeding from Thursday last week, a case in which ten army members are charged with the murder of three men whose bodies were recovered from the Mohale Dam  in 2017, has been postponed to April 01 2025 for continuation.

The prosecution led several witnesses, including police officers who were part of the investigation team into the matter, villagers from Mohale and an army member.

The last witness to testify this week was Senior Inspector Letsielo Mabitle  who works in the Search and Rescue Department within the Lesotho Mounted Police Service(LMPS). He told the court that he was leading a team tasked with retrieval of the bodies of the deceased from the Mohale Dam. He pointed out that they were working together with a team from South Africa…
