Maseru, Nov. 27 – The Minister of Gender, Youth, and Social Development, Mr. Pitso Lesaoana is expected to officiate the two-day men’s conference to be held in Maseru starting tomorrow, Tuesday.
The conference organised by Man Up Lesotho along with its stakeholders is meant to bring together men despite their socio economic status, to deliberate, meditate and seek solutions regarding the 16 days of activism campaign against gender based violence following its commencement over the weekend, Man Up founder and Chief Executive, Mr. Mpho Mahula has disclosed.
In an interview with the Agency, Mr. Mahula mentioned that while this type of abuse and violence affects more women and girls than me, but committers of this type of crime are men, the more reason why they must come together, identify their weaknesses and their wrong doing while also share tactics on reduction strategies. . .
