Mohale’s Hoek, April 03 — The Minister of Law and Justice, Mr. Richard Ramoeletsi has donated roofing materials to Braakfontein villagers who built the chief’s office out of their own pockets.
This has been confirmed by his Mrs. Seithati Sethabathaba in an interview with the Agency, by noting that this followed chief ‘Masempe Posholi and Khoelenya’s councillor Ms. Rethabile Makhalema’s request to the minister, who saw it befitting to lent a helping hand after efforts made by villagers.
Mrs. Sethabathaba stated that the Minister has not only supplied villagers with material, but will also be paying a builder who will carry out the roofing process.
On the other hand, Chief Masempe Posholi who expressed her appreciation to the Minister, asserted she was at the point where she considered unroofing the old office, as she could not ask villagers for more contributions, as some have already contributed more than M30.00 per person. MM/TL
