Maseru, Dec.19 — The government of Lesotho (Goal) through the Disaster Management Authority (DMA) has received 18 matrix tons of vegetable cooking oil from the World Food Programme (WFP) in Maseru on Thursday.
While receiving this gift, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DMA Mr. Reatile Ellias said that this donation comes in as assistance to the food distribution that the government is already giving to the vulnerable households which are affected by the ongoing state of hunger that the country is faced with.
He indicated that the distribution of the cooking oil will be made in the 13 distribution points of DMA across the country to the deserving households.
Mr. Ellias said that he hopes this cooking oil will play a part in improving proper nutrition also. . .
