Maseru, Oct. 12 — Lesotho’s senior soccer squad Mehalalitoe will return home with tails heavily tagged between their legs after losing the third Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship 2023 last group C match 2-0 against Namibia played at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) grounds on Wednesday in Gauteng.
This was the third consecutive loss for Mehalalitoe in the same competition after losing the other two games 1-0 against Zimbabwe and also lost 3-0 against Botswana.
It means that Mehalalitoe exited the tournament bottom of the Group C with no points and have also failed to score a single goal in the entire competition.
