MEC ON NEC CONFERENCE

Maseru, March 29 — Movement for Economic Change (MEC) is set to go for its National Executive elective conference on May 02 to 03.

This was disclosed by the party’s Secretary General, Mr. Napo Moshoeshoe in an interview with the Agency where he said that all positions, including the leader’s are being contested for even though he said to date there has not been a nominee for the leader’s position.

He said expected at the conference are delegations from the 80 constituencies and representatives of students in tertiary institutions in and outside the country.

He noted that the conference will start on a Friday with the arrival of delegations, saying that on the evening of the said day, the leader of the party Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane will deliver his keynote address to the conference which he said will be followed by elections. AT/TL
