Maseru, Mach 03 — Maseru City Council (MCC) in collaboration with Lesotho Housing and Land Development Corporation have released a statement warning Ha Pena-Pena and Ha Mapetla land owners that the land in those areas are not meant for sale of residential plots.
According to the statement released by MCC in partnership with LHLDC the land at Ha Pena-Pena as well as Ha Mapetla are planned for Agricultural purpose not for residential plots until the appropriate measures are taken and permits are granted.
Furthermore the statement indicated that the public must be conscious if they spot a notice advertising residential plots in those areas that they cannot be a residential site within an agricultural land unless there is new adjustment made by the Council.
Moreover the public is encouraged to take right procedures when they acquire residential land by consulting the Council before making payments as they will not obtain a lease for such a plot therefore it is going to be an illegal plot. MM/TL
