MATLAKENG MP IN HOT WATER

Maseru, Aug.16 — Following her voting with the opposition in the National Assembly on Tuesday, Dr. Mahali Phamotse, Member of Parliament (MP) for Matlakeng Constituency is in hot water as she faces disciplinary action.

Dr. Phamotse together with other RFP MPs being Mr. Thuso Makhalanyane from Abia and Mr. Rethabile Letlailana from Lithoteng constituencies as well as a Member of Parliament representing United for Change (UFC) on Proportional Representation (PR) Mr. Mohlominyane Tota voted with opposition.

According to the disciplinary notice addressed to Dr. Phamotse, written and signed by RFP Secretary General Ms. Nthati Moorosi, the defendant is called for disciplinary hearing on August 19 thus this coming Saturday at RFP headquarters. . .
