Mafeteng, Jan.02 — A 23-year-old man of Ha Ramohapi is in Mafeteng police custody for allegedly stabbing to death a 21-year-old man of the same village on Monday this week.
In an interview with the Officer Commanding Mafeteng Police Senior Superintendent Leabua Shale said the deceased and the suspect were drinking at one of the local shebeens when the deceased fought with the suspect’s brother over an unknown issue on the above-mentioned date.
He highlighted that according to the preliminary investigations the deceased and the suspect’s brother of whom are reported to be friends are used to fighting while drinking together and this time the suspect joined the fight where he allegedly stabbed the deceased once on the neck fighting for his brother. . .
