Maseru, July 17 — Basotho National Party (BNP) member Advocate Bereng Makotoko has questioned the manner in which he has been suspended by the party leader Mr. Machesetsa Mofomobe after receiving the suspension letter on Tuesday.
Adv. Makotoko told the Agency on Wednesday that he received the suspension letter while in the studio being interviewed in one of the local radio stations about the matter he has been suspended for.
However, he said the party leader singled him alone among 20 BNP members who had written an apology letter to the King Letsie III and Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane for utterances made by the party leader to the duo.
He questioned why he alone had been suspended and yet he was not alone who signed those letters to the King and the Prime Minister.
