Berea, Dec. 31 — The ongoing Lits’akajoe CBS Soccer Festival which kicked off mid-December and staged at Mokoallong, Ha Senekane is slowly descending towards the finals with eight teams set to play at the quarter finals starting on Wednesday.
The Lits’akajoe CBS Soccer Festival saw participation of 16 teams around Sefikeng and one invited team from Thaba-bosiu zone and the games are supported by Computer Business Solutions (CBS) through its owner Dr. Mohlalefi Sefika who injected M150,000 as a sponsorship money.
Approached for comment, one of the tournament organizing committee members, Mr. Teboho Koloi said as the festive season mood is already at the peak, they will be enjoying the matches involving eight teams battling to book their place in the semi-finals.
Mr. Koloi said since establishment of the tournament in 2017, the purpose was to unveil talent and to promote soccer development at Sefikeng and its surrounding places, citing that with the price money, the winning teams will get a certain amount, while another half will be directed towards procuring the basic needs of the teams.
