LESOTHO TO MARK PRAYER DAY THROUGH CELEBRATING MISSIONARIES

Maseru, June 10 — The National Prayer Coordinating Committee (NPCC) is expected to hold the annual National Day of Prayer to commemorate the arrival of missionaries in Lesotho.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Monday, the General Secretary of NPCC, Ms. ‘Matšolofelo Nakanyane said that the event will be held on June 28 in Thaba-Bosiu Cultural Village.

She stated that this year, especially with Lesotho celebrating 200 years of the founding of Basotho, NPCC will be hosting the descendants of Eugene Casalis and Thomas Arbousset at prayer.

She also mentioned that for this year’s celebration, the National Day of Prayer will be commemorated under the theme ‘Reroute. Redirect. Realign’.
