Maseru, Oct. 21 — In line with its vision, Southern African Development Community Groundwater Management Institutes (SADC-GMI) in collaboration with the Government of Lesotho, the Ministry of Natural Resources through the Department of Water Affairs, is expected to host the 6th SADC Groundwater Conference from November, 13th to 15th in Maseru.
According to a publication by the Ministry of Natural Resources Public Relations Office, the conference aims to establish a dynamic forum for water sector professionals, focusing on conjunctive water resources management, surface and groundwater, to share knowledge, successes and challenges affecting our region and beyond.
This conference will serve as a convergence point for influential figures from across the SADC Member State and it will also encompass government officials, regional institutions, industry leaders, academic experts, scientific scholars, civil society members and media representatives.
It provides a unique platform for stakeholders from within the region and beyond to engage, collaborate and drive collective progress.
