Maseru, Mar.24—Ministry of Health Principal Secretary Ms. Moliehi Ntene says there are slim chances of the country running out of HIV and TB treatments supply.
This comes after the World Health Organization Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced last week that Lesotho is among the eight countries that will run out of these lifesaving medicines following President Trump’s administration decision to halt the U.S. foreign aid.
The eight countries reported to likely exhaust their supply of HIV treatments in the coming months are Haiti, Kenya, Lesotho, South Sudan, Burkina Faso, Mali, Nigeria and Ukraine…
