LESOTHO MARKS INTERNATIONAL CONDOM DAY

Maseru, Feb.15 — Youth  from different communities gathered at Khubetsoana Clinic, Maseru on Saturday in celebration of  International Condom Day (ICD). 

The celebration was all about making safer sex not only educational, however sexy, through the discussions and demonstrations of condoms as well as the significance of using condom in preventing unwanted pregnancy, Sexual Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV/AIDS. 

Speaking at the event, AIDS Health Foundation (AHF), Medical Director Dr. Patrick Kanyema disclosed that the event was in commemoration of the International Condom Day (ICD) of educating youth about the significance of condom use. 

He further said condoms play a vital role in preventing Sexual Transmitted Diseases (STIs) and HIV/AIDS.
