LESOTHO, INDIA STRENGTHEN RELATIONS

Maseru, Dec. 14 – Ties between Lesotho and the Republic of India were enhanced during the presentation of credentials by the High Commissioner, Mr. Prabtiat Kumar to King Letsie III at the Royal Palace, Maseru on Thursday.

In his acceptance speech, the King said accreditation of the High Commissioner signals India’s commitment in elevating relations of the two countries, adding both countries are committed to peace and stability in the world.

He noted that Lesotho and India have worked together in many areas ranging from education, agriculture, food security, defence and health of which many ailing Basotho nationals have received health services from India through minimal prices. . .
