Beijing, Sept. 02 — With only two days left before the official launch of the much anticipated Forum on China – Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) hosted in Beijing, Lesotho hopes it addresses its major issues like infrastructure.
This was said by the Minister of Public Works and Transport Mr. Matjato Moteane who is among Prime Minister Mr. Sam Matekane’s delegation.
He said that they will under the FOCAC engage in a number of deliberations and signing of the declaration of Beijing summit and plan of Action, while here they will also dwell more on the country’s projects on the table including infrastructure in particular focusing on construction of roads and bridges.
“We have three road projects thus Thaba-Tseka to Mokhotlong, Sehlabathebe to Makunyapane and Malealea as well as Tebellong bridge connecting Tebellong hospital to Qacha’s Nek which we will table in our high level meetings and hopefully we will get fruitful results,” he said.
