Maseru, Mar. 23 — The African Trade Policy Centre (ATPC) held its 5th Steering Committee Meeting on Friday in Addis Ababa, marking a pivotal moment for trade enhancement across the continent.
Chaired by Mr Tsotetsi Makong on behalf of H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, and co-chaired by Ms. Pearl Wierenga from Global Affairs Canada, the meeting reviewed achievements and planned impactful future initiatives.
Representatives from key Regional Economic Communities, including the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), alongside partners such as Afreximbank, SEATINI Uganda, PACCI, and CAWEE, attended the meeting.
