Quthing, May 26 — The Minister of Minister of Home Affairs, Chieftainship Local Government and Mr. Lebona Lephema on Friday led the district cleaning campaign carried out under “operation Hloekisa Lesotho” national campaign.
Addressing the public at the end of a cleaning campaign at Lower Moyeni pitso ground, Minister Lephema commended support of the Quthing business community with different cleaning materials to make the campaign a success.
He raised concern over the Quthing town which is mostly occupied by the foreign traders whom some of them lack legal documents and emphasised that they should have legal residential legal documents to be easily accessed and followed up when need arises.
Minister Lebona called on the local banks to support Basotho traders in business for growth and sustainability of the district economy.
